Product Description
PFA rod is made from PFA resin and prepared by the technology of extrusion and molding. It can be machined into various sealing parts and electric components. It can be used at the temperature range of -200 ~ +260C degree PFA (Polyfluoroalkoxy) owns excellent chemical stabilities, thermal properties and dielectric properties as PTFE. Good self-lubricating properties, flame resistance, and aging resistance. It has prominent folding endurance and stress cracking resistance. Its mechanical strength is 1.6 times as strong as PTFE.

PFA rod characteristics
- Appearance: PFA rod has a uniform texture with a smooth and flat surface, appearing transparent or semi-transparent.
- Excellent Plasticity: PFA shares the outstanding characteristics of PTFE, exhibiting higher mechanical strength than FEP at high temperatures. It can be easily processed using common thermoplastic forming methods.
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: PFA is highly chemically stable and inert, resistant to most chemicals, acids, alkalis, water, and organic solvents, surpassing the properties of PVDF.
- Maintains Mechanical Strength over a Wide Temperature Range: PFA remains flexible and retains its toughness at extremely low and high temperatures. It has a maximum continuous operating temperature of 260°C, similar to PTFE, which is the highest among all fluoropolymers.
- Excellent Electrical Properties: PFA exhibits low and stable dielectric constants across a wide frequency range. It has extremely low and stable insulation loss coefficients and high volume resistivity. It also possesses high insulation breakdown strength.
- Non-flammability: PFA, like PTFE and FEP, is a non-flammable polymer with an oxygen index greater than 95%. It meets the UL94 standard with a V0 flammability rating.
- Excellent Weather Resistance: PFA retains its properties even when exposed to harsh weather conditions for extended periods.
- Non-stick and low friction: PFA itself is non-stick and has the ability to resist water, oil and other substances, with a smooth surface

PFA rod Features
