Sourced from China, these Chemical-resistant PFA Particles are expertly crafted for acid-alkali injection and extrusion. PFA is a fluorocarbon polymer with excellent melt fluidity, which can be processed like ordinary meltable resins. PFA is not corroded by most chemical substances and maintains a certain degree of flexibility within extremely low to extremely high temperature ranges. The recommended continuous operating temperature of PFA products does not exceed 260ºC. PFA products are mainly in forms such as PFA powder and PFA particles, and can be processed using traditional melt extrusion techniques such as spraying, injection molding, and compression molding. The melt strength and thermal stability of PFA resin are very high, which is conducive to using larger mold cavities and high-temperature coating processes, thereby increasing the processing speed.

Flame resistance
Like PTFE and FEP, FLUORWAY PFA is also non-flammable, and it has a lower smoke emission rate than ETFE and PVDF. Its limit oxygen index (the concentration of oxygen required for sustained combustion) is greater than 95%.
Drug Resistance
The PFA (Polytetrafluoroethylene) has similar high chemical stability to PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), being resistant to common acids, bases, oxidizing and reducing agents, and various solutions. However, it is not resistant to molten alkali metals or high-temperature fluorine gas.
Mechanical properties
The PFA material used by FLUORWAY has high mechanical strength at high temperatures and is suitable for a wide temperature range (-200 to 260 degrees Celsius).

Electrical Performance
The PFA of FLUORWAY exhibits extremely low molecular polarity over a wide temperature and frequency range, and presents stable low dielectric constant (2.1) and low dielectric loss (dielectric loss factor: <1×10 (D15010³Hz), 3×10 (D15010Hz)).
Forming processing
The melt viscosity of FLUORWAY PFA is even lower than that of FEP, and it has better heat resistance. Therefore, just like other thermoplastic resins, it can be processed by methods such as extrusion, injection, blow molding, and transfer molding. Form processing.
Injection molding
Injection molding can be used for various devices in semiconductors and industrial applications. Typically, screw-type injection molding machines are employed. To minimize the deformation during molding, when designing the mold, larger and shorter gates, runners, and sprues should be selected. The mold should be made of anti-corrosion mold steel and heated to 120 to 200 degrees Celsius.

☆This is a fluoropolymer material, so the normal precautions for fluoropolymer materials should be followed. Before handling these products, please refer to the material safety data sheet.
