        PFA rod characteristics:
 

1. Appearance: PFA rod has a uniform texture with a smooth and flat surface, appearing transparent or semi-transparent.
2. Excellent Plasticity: PFA shares the outstanding characteristics of PTFE, exhibiting higher mechanical strength than FEP at high temperatures. It can be easily processed using common thermoplastic forming methods.
3. Excellent Corrosion Resistance: PFA is highly chemically stable and inert, resistant to most chemicals, acids, alkalis, water, and organic solvents, surpassing the properties of PVDF.
4. Maintains Mechanical Strength over a Wide Temperature Range: PFA remains flexible and retains its toughness at extremely low and high temperatures. It has a maximum continuous operating temperature of 260°C, similar to PTFE, which is the highest among all fluoropolymers.
5. Excellent Electrical Properties: PFA exhibits low and stable dielectric constants across a wide frequency range. It has extremely low and stable insulation loss coefficients and high volume resistivity. It also possesses high insulation breakdown strength.
6. Non-flammability: PFA, like PTFE and FEP, is a non-flammable polymer with an oxygen index greater than 95%. It meets the UL94 standard with a V0 flammability rating.
7. Excellent Weather Resistance: PFA retains its properties even when exposed to harsh weather conditions for extended periods.
8. Non-stick and Low Friction Properties: PFA inherently possesses non-stick properties and can repel water, oil, and other substances. Its smooth surface finds extensive use in industries such as semiconductors, as well as in medical, chemical corrosion resistance, and automotive applications.
